Subject: Invitation for Expression of Interest: 8th Country Programme Cycle
UNFPA is in the process of identifying potential implementing partners in the category of local non-governmental organisation/non state actors and the academia for the implementation of the 8th Country Programme 2019-2023.The focus of the 8th CPD is to contribute to zero unmet need for family planning, zero maternal deaths and zero Gender based violence with emphasis on utilization of integrated sexual and reproductive health services and empowerment of women, girls, adolescents and youth. UNFPA programmes are expected to be implemented in Nkhatabay, Mchinji, Dedza, Mangochi and Chiradzulu districts. Interested organisations should forward their expression of interest to UNFPA; Evelyn Court, Area 13, Box 30135, Lilongwe; or email Malawi.office@unfpa.org by 17th October, 2018 enclosing the information listed below:
- Full legal name and address of applying institution
- Copy of valid legal registration in the country
- Mandate or mission statement of organization
- Statement of organization’s expertise and experience in the relevant area
- Physical presence in the focus districts
- Short description of the organization’s existing operations in the subject matter area, including how long the operations have been carried out.
Upon receipt of the above information from prospective partners, UNFPA will review applicants for placement on a short-list of potential implementing partners.
Those short-listed organizations may be invited to submit formal proposals to become an implementing partner. The invitation for Proposal will provide a more detailed description of the scope of work.
Note:
Due to the high volume of applications, UNFPA will only respond to shortlisted organization to submit a detailed proposal three weeks after the closing date of submitting the expression of interest
