The Government of Malawi/ UNFPA 8th Country Programme (CP8) (2019-2023) was developed in collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the Government of Malawi (GoM), Ministries, Departments and Agencies, development partners/ UN agencies, civil society organisations, academia and the private sector to support the GoM to respond to national priorities. The development of CP8 was informed by the then United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) /United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for Malawi, which is aligned to the country's development and priorities and being informed by the lessons from the previous programme.
